With its spring-loaded bag clamp and chute knocker and its vibrating steel shaker plate, the KR1203 ensures that all ground coffee lands in the chosen receptacle, be it a bag, bin, or dosing cup for when smaller amounts of coffee are needed.

More Than Qualified

Capable of grinding well over 1000 pounds of coffee per day thanks to its massive 140mm wear-resistant steel burrs, the KR1403 can effortlessly handle the volume of high-volume cafes, retail settings, and roasteries. While generally used to grind into bags for customers, smaller doses for batch-brewing, pour overs, and even espresso aren't out of the question, largely in part to the 1403's stepless adjustment and a grind range stretching all the way from 200 to 900 microns. While active cooling by fans is not applied, the 140mm steel burrs and 3-phase motors ensure that heat transfer to the coffee is imperceptible.

While boasting a more powerful motor and the ability to grind nearly twice as much as Ditting's 1203 model, the KR1403 uses the same high-quality, metal components and comes in at the exact same weight and size as its sibling.
